Happy Monday Dawg fans, and welcome to today’s Dots.

Your Washington Huskies are well into fall camp, and Saturday’s scrimmage was followed by a no-eyewitnesses practice yesterday.

Here’s one that slipped through the cracks in my keyboard. I meant to include this last week — still good right?

“The staff here is unbelievable. It’s the best staff I’ve been on, not only from X’s and O’s and moral compass, but we also have really high chemistry. And we hang out with each other when we’re away from the building. … I would be crazy to leave this place… and hopefully I’m here for a long time.”

2nd-year Safety Rylon Dillard-Allen’s talent and potential seem certain. His temper has also appeared a thorn more than once this past week. Hopefully this is a non-issue come September.

Fisch on RDA: “I’ve got to spend more time with him, and help him understand the difference of playing at the highest level possible, but not crossing the line.”

Sure Brock’s a homer, but he’s our homer: Brock sez: “And it’s year 3. This is what (Fisch) has done in his career. It’s what he did at Arizona. And every year builds and it builds and the roster builds and the recruiting builds.”

Washington CB Jeron Jones had a PBU on the first play of the Huskies’ scrimmage tonight.

Thought Carver Willis had a shot to win the LG spot despite being a 4th Round rookie and while that seems unlikely given his time missed in camp his run blocking performance on Thursday should get him more opportunities to prove himself this preseason. pic.twitter.com/38jjK0wxPl

With twenty (20) days to go, I’m counting down to the season-opening Apple Cup (still sounds bizarre) using final scores from seasons past.

  • If the Dawgs scored 20, choose the first video adventure (2012 – Nick Holt OUT, Justin Wilcox IN).
  • If the Dawgs’ opponent scored 20, go to the second video (1994).

Go Dawgs!!
