Shilo Sanders found a way to turn his younger brother’s serious postgame message into another Sanders family comedy routine.
While reacting to Shedeur Sanders’ Aug. 22 press conference after Cleveland’s preseason loss to Buffalo, Shilo zeroed in on his brother mentioning a pregame speech that apparently included some colorful language.
That was enough for Shilo to imagine exactly how their father, Deion Sanders, would respond.
Shilo Sanders Breaks Out Deion ImpressionIn his interview, Shedeur explained that his preparation would not change whether he is starting, backing up, or fighting for the job.
“If you do things based off the situation you’re in, then it’s like you’re not really doing everything to your max,” Shedeur said during thepostgame presser.
As Shilo watched the comments in hisYouTube video, he remembered talking with his brother before the game and joked that some of the pregame footage might never make the final cut because of the language.
Then came the Deion impression.
Shilo imitated the reaction he expected from his father, joking about Deion seeing his son curse and asking, in effect, “My kid’s cussing now?!”

The impression fit a family dynamic that has produced plenty of public roasting over the years. Shilo and Shedeur both played for their father at Jackson State and Colorado, giving Deion years of firsthand access to their abilities before either son reached the NFL.
Shilo added another example, recalling Deion finding a recent barber competition video and leaving a comment on it.
“I had to block him,” Shilo joked.
The moment was light, but it came from Shedeur discussing a much more serious approach to his quarterback competition.

Shedeur Sanders Stresses Consistency After Bills StartShedeur started the first half against Buffalo and completed nine of 11 passes for 74 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Cleveland’s 31-7 loss.
His official Browns postgame presser focused heavily on maintaining the same work habits regardless of his place on the depth chart. Two days later, head coach Todd Monken named Deshaun Watson the Week 1 starter.
That made Shedeur’s message about consistency especially relevant. The second-year quarterback is now preparing as Cleveland’s backup rather than changing his routine because the competition ended differently than he hoped.
Shilo has continued following his brother’s NFL journey closely since his own stint with Tampa Bay ended during the 2025 preseason. PFN has also documented thefamily banter between Deion, Shedeur and Shilo, which has remained a regular feature even as their football careers moved in different directions.
