In a surprising move, Nashville Predators general manager Chris MacFarland has traded forward Luke Evangelista to the New Jersey Devils, a decision he described as one that was 'not made lightly.' The trade, which took place on September 1, has raised eyebrows among fans and analysts alike, especially considering Evangelista's recent performance and popularity within the organization.
Evangelista, who just completed a career season at the age of 24, was a standout player for the Predators, finishing with 12 goals and 44 assists in 81 games.
