The Titans will not have one of their cornerbacks at the beginning of the regular season.
The NFL announced on Friday that Nazeeh Johnson has been suspended for the first six games of the year for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances.
Johnson’s suspension will begin on Aug. 30 and he will be eligible for reinstatement on Monday, Oct. 19.
Johnson, 28, was a Chiefs seventh-round pick in 2022, winning a pair of Super Bowls with the club. He’s appeared in 29 career games with six starts, recording three passes defensed and 66 total tackles.
He signed with the Titans in late July.
