Nebraska football is building momentum with 2028 Penn State four-star commit Deonte Fleming. This was reported by HuskerOnline's Bobby Schneider on Thursday afternoon.
Flemings is the 104th overall player in the 2028 class, the ninth overall player at his position, and the third overall player in his class from the state of Pennsylvania, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings.
Nebraska will be able to get him on campus. He is coming for the October 31 game against Washington. Flemings noted that secondaries coach Addison Williams is one of the primary reasons for him visiting campus.
Nebraska currently has no commitments in the 2028 class. Flemings would be an awesome gap, and this is a position that Nebraska has recruited well.
He measures in at 6-foot-3, 190 pounds, and Williams seems to specifically recruit long, rangy corners. The corner position has been one of strength in recruiting as of late, and Flemings will add to that.
