It's clear the Eastern Conference in the NBA got a lot better this offseason, but the Celtics should still be viewed as one of the teams in the mix to finish towards the top of the standings.
Even with new players coming into Boston this upcoming season, their winning mindset remains the same, which Celtics' center Neemias Queta emphasized recently.

"People have started saying again that the others are good and that we don't have the quality. But I think with the group we have and the people we have in the locker room? And our coach?" Queta said.

Queta believes the Celtics should be in contending conversations just like all of the other top teams, and sees their personnel as top-tier and title-quality.
This offseason, the Celtics parted ways with players such as Jaylen Brown and Nikola Vucevic, but brought in a few players, including Paul George, Mitchell Robinson and Mike Conley.
We won't know how the new roster gels together until the season starts, but a large chunk of the same core players from past years are back, so there's already a good amount of established chemistry in Boston.

It may take some time for the new players to get comfortable with the new system, but it doesn't seem to be a worry.
Queta himself is coming off a career year, and while we don't know if he will play more as a starter or a bench player this entire season, he will still be one of the most important players on the roster, being one of their two main centers.
In Queta's breakthrough year last season, he averaged 10.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 25.3 minutes.
The Celtics have made the playoffs the last 12 seasons, which is the longest active streak by an NBA team right now.
