Nets signing Nick Pringle to Exhibit 10 deal confirmed by Seros agency

The Brooklyn Nets are in the slow portion of their offseason now that the 2026 NBA Draft, summer league play, and free-agency is in the rearview mirror after all of those moves. Brooklyn will be convening for training camp towards the second half of September and while there was a report of a signing, now there is confirmation that another player will be competing for an opportunity in camp.

After NetsDaily reported earlier this week that former University of Arkansas forward Nick Pringle signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the team, his agency, Seros Partners, confirmed the signing. With Pringle signing with Brooklyn, he will be competing for the last Two-Way spot that the Nets have available after signing Tyler Bilodeau and Chaney Johnson to Two-Way deals.

"Exhibit 9 and Exhibit 10 contracts are commonly referred to as 'summer contracts' or 'training camp contracts'," Keith Smith wrote for Spotrac when explaining what these contracts are. "These players are being brought in to provide competition in training camp, to give coaches some extra bodies for drills and scrimmages, and sometimes to prove they are worthy of a regular season roster spot."

Pringle, 24, spent six years playing college basketball as he began his career at Wofford before making stops at Dodge City Community College, Alabama, and South Carolina before playing his final year for the Razorbacks under head coach John Calipari. Pringle had the best season of his college career during the 2024-25 season when he averaged 9.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game while shooting 57.2% from the field for the Gamecocks.

With the Nets having only the lone Two-Way spot available, it seems that Pringle is facing an uphill battle when it comes to making the roster because Brooklyn would have to determine if they want to see him playing for the Long Island Nets, Brooklyn's G League afiliate. As of now, Pringle still has over one month to prepare, but his agency has confirmed that he is trying to break into the NBA by participating in Brooklyn's training camp.
