The Miami Dolphins had Wednesday off in preparation for Thursday, when they hosted the New York Giants at their Baptist Health Training Complex for a joint practice ahead of their preseason matchup on Saturday.
This session was Miami's second joint practice after they met with the Washington Commanders before they fell to Dan Quinn's team 20-7 last Friday.
With this being our second chance to see what the Dolphins look like against another team in their new form, here's everything that happened at practice on Thursday, according to beat reporters on the scene.
- According to the Miami Herald's Omar Kelly, Dolphins running back Jaylen Wright beat Giants linebacker Arvell Reese for a 40-yard TD in 1-on-1s.
- Accoding to team reporter Travis Wingfield, Dolphins quarterback Malik Willis had beautiful touchdown passes to wide receivers Jalen Reagor, Donaven McCulley and Terrace Marshall Jr. in 1-on-1s.
- Dolphins defensive lineman Zeek Biggers and linebacker Joshua Uche won their 1-on-1s.
- Giants linebacker Abdul Carter threw a punch at Dolphins offensive tackle Patrick Paul after the lineman stopped a pass rush.
- Dolphins rookie offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor beat Giants linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux, while Jonah Savainnaea lost to Giants defensive lineman Darius Alexander.
- Dolphins linebacker Chop Robinson won one of his two reps against Jermaine Eluemunor.
- According to ESPN's Marcel Louis-Jacques, former Dolphins safety Jevon Holland beat Dolphins tight end Will Kacmarek to sack Willis in 11-on-11s.

- Marshall broke up a pass from Dart that was intended for Giants wide receiver Darnell Mooney. They eventually kicked a 40-yard field goal to end the drive.
