After the 2003 season, the Pittsburgh Steelers have finished above the .500 mark in every season, a mark that has stood for a whopping 22 years in a row.

Ahead of the Steelers' preseason opener against the Green Bay Packers, NFL Network held a segment predicting what record the Steel City's football team may earn for the upcoming season. Two former NFL athletes gave Pittsburgh a mark they're quite used to regarding their beloved Steelers.

Here's a rundown on how the two analysts predicted Pittsburgh would finish after their 2026 campaign came to an end.

What record did NFL Network predict for Steelers?

On Thursday evening, just before Pittsburgh kicked its preseason off with some offensive fireworks against Green Bay, the NFL Network's Michael Robinson and Maurice Jones-Drew divided and conquered the Steelers' 2026 schedule. Robinson led things off, picking through the first 10 weeks, while Jones-Drew gave his takes on Weeks 11-18.

Robinson, despite slating losses to the New England Patriots and Cincinnati Bengals inside the first three weeks, predicted the Steelers to equip themselves with a 6-3 record through the first 10 weeks. Jones-Drew was not as gracious, and Pittsburgh's second-half schedule didn't exactly give fans the hope they sought after.

The former Jacksonville running back gave the Steelers four straight losses against the Philadelphia Eagles, Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, and Jacksonville Jaguars during Weeks 11-14. After three straight wins against the Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, and Tennessee Titans, along with a Week 18 loss to the Ravens, the two analysts projected a 9-8 record in the Steel City. This would cap off Pittsburgh's 23rd season in a row finishing at .500 or better.
