La Liga champions Barcelona have registered a pair of the club’s summer signings for action in Spain’s top-flight. This comes amid confirmation that both Rodri and Karim Adeyemi will be available to face Elche this weekend.
Hansi Flick’s Barca are of course primed to kick the defence of their La Liga title into gear this coming Sunday. Afforded an extended rest following the World Cup, the Blaugrana have been pencilled in for an opening day meeting with the aforementioned Elche.
In the buildup to the fixture, much of the chatter in Catalunya’s capital has centered on the status of the recent arrivals at the Spotify Camp Nou.
Deco and his transfer team have secured a quartet of first-team reinforcements this summer, in the form of Anthony Gordon, Karim Adeyemi, Rodri and João Cancelo.
Just days out from Barca’s La Liga opener, though, none had until today been registered to take to the pitch in Spain’s top tier this coming season.
But as alluded to above, Hansi Flick and his staff can rest easy in the knowledge that, at the very least, both Rodri and Adeyemi will be availbale to face Elche:
