The 2026 college football season is almost here, and it seems like an eternity since Ohio State lost to Miami in a College Football Playoff quarterfinal Cotton Bowl matchup. There has been no shortage of news in the offseason as the sport continues to morph into unfamiliar territory at breakneck speed.
Something that hasn't changed is all of the Buckeye players appearing on the preseason All-American teams, watch lists, and more, and we like to keep track of all of them as we get peppered with them on an almost daily basis now so close to the season.
From the Maxwell Trophy preseason watch list to the Associated Press preseason All-American team, here's a look at all of the preseason honors for the Ohio State football team, with a little help from the releases coming out from the Ohio State Dept. of Athletics.

- Six Ohio State players were named preseason All-Americans by the publication, while 16 Buckeyes were placed on the preseason All-Big Ten team
