Olivia Miles twists ankle, exits Lynx’s win over Valkyries in fourth quarter

Olivia Miles twisted her left ankle in the fourth quarter of the Minnesota Lynx’s 77-66 win against the Golden State Valkyries on Wednesday night.

On the defensive end, she stepped on teammate Napheesa Collier’s foot and rolled her ankle. She limped to the sideline, where she sat on the court in pain for a few minutes.

Miles — the runaway favorite for WNBA Rookie of the Year and an MVP candidate — eventually limped to the bench under her own power but did not return.

She exited with 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting with seven assists, two steals and two blocks in 30 minutes.
