Since today’s practice is a different vibe than the rest of the Green Bay Packers’ practices so far this summer, as the Arizona Cardinals are in town for the final day of training camp, I figured that we should have a different type of practice post up on the site today. Instead of doing a recap, I’m sure plenty of you are keeping up to date with practice live, so I’ll be linking all relevant information that comes out of today’s joint practice live in the thread below.

Fire off your thoughts (or suggestions, if I’ve missed anything) in the comments section.

Updates

Brian Gutekunst on RB depth if Josh Jacobs misses time with suspension: "I'm pretty confident we can sustain it. That doesn't mean we wouldn't do (claim a RB), but we'll deal with that when that comes. We've obviously been preparing for that."

Packers GM Brian Gutekunst on keeping an extra RB in case Josh Jacobs is suspended:

“We could. You usually keep 3 or 4 running backs, and I think we have enough to do that.“

Also noted that it’s relatively easy to elevate a back off the practice squad, too. pic.twitter.com/aWPD1fCLYT

Up until this point, the Packers have basically said nothing about running back Josh Jacobs’ legal matter, following his arrest for a domestic abuse claim. Brown County continues its investigation into the situation.

Brian Gutekunst on state of Tucker Kraft's contract extension negotiations: "We would love to have that done. These things are complicated at times. … Whether we accomplish that before the beginning of the season, we'll see. We're excited for what he's going to do for us both…
