GREEN BAY − The Green Bay Packers are adding more depth to the tight end room by trading with the Los Angeles Rams for Mark Redman, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
Redman, who played college football at Louisville, went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft and signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent. He spent last season on the team's practice squad.
In three preseason games this year, Redman caught six passes for 63 yards.
Before ending his college career at Louisville, Redman played at Washington from 2020-21 and San Diego State from 2022-23. He was a two-time second-team All-Mountain West member both years with San Diego State. He caught 84 passes for 902 yards and eight touchdowns in five years of college football.
With Luke Musgrave's status to start the season unclear, the Packers needed help at tight end. The team recently signed veteran Jonnu Smith.
