The Carolina Panthers opened the preseason with a thrilling victory in the Hall of Fame Game over the Arizona Cardinals. Today, they are following that up with a brief debut of their starters—including quarterback Bryce Young—today against the Buffalo Bills.
Don’t expect to see too much from anybody on the team as it is still the preseason, but there are still a few things we can keep an eye out for: We want Young to look protected, we want him to look oriented, and we want our young, potential playmakers to look consistent. That means guys like Jonathan Brooks, AJ Dillon, Ja’Seem Reed, Jimmy Horn Jr, Darren Waller, and, yes, even Xavier Legette.
More guys playing well is a good problem for the Panthers to have, no matter who we, as fans, have written off.
