Peterborough United have signed winger Ethan Williams from Manchester United for a "sizeable" undisclosed fee.
Posh said that the 20-year-old - who was recently part of the Red Devils' pre-season tour of Finland, Norway and Sweden - has signed a long-term deal.
Williams did not make a senior start for the Premier League club, but previously spent time on loan at League Two Cheltenham Town and most recently Scottish Premiership outfit Falkirk, where he made 22 appearances last season.
"Ethan is a player that will give us another option in the wide areas," said Peterborough boss Luke Williams. "He is quick, direct and will be a threat and I am looking forward to working with him."
Despite failing to make a breakthrough at Old Trafford, Williams is looking forward to a fresh start at the League One outfit.
He said: "I have enjoyed my time at [Manchester] United and it's always tough to leave a place like that, but there comes a time in your career where you have to make tough decisions to develop yourself and Peterborough is renowned for helping younger players."
