Real Madrid pair Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé made clear that they have put their differences firmly behind them on Saturday evening.
This comes after the former got the new José Mourinho era up-and-running courtesy of Los Blancos’ first goal of the 2026/27 campaign.
Real Madrid are of course currently locked in action, in a La Liga meeting with Espanyol. After being afforded an extended break following this summer’s World Cup, the capital heavyweights kicked efforts to wrestle back Spanish football supremacy back from arch rivals Barcelona with a trip to the RCDE Stadium.
And inside the 10-minute mark, the visitors found themselves in front. After Arda Güler whipped a pinpoint delivery into the Espanyol penalty area, the aforementioned Jude Bellingham made no mistake in nodding home a fine header.
And it was at this point that the Englishman and Kylian Mbappé showed off their new-found togetherness.
After at times last season looking like they wanted nothing to do with one another whilst on the pitch, the Blancos pair were the first to come together to celebrate Bellingham’s finish, embracing to celebrate the beginning of a new era:
