Pittsburgh Steelers roster cuts: Tracking the cuts to 53 players to start 2026

The deadline is approaching for the Pittsburgh Steelers to trim their offseason, 90-man roster down to 53 and we have all the moves, announcements and rumors on the path to 53 and the start of the regular season.

The Steelers wasted no time in making their first round of cuts with 11 guys getting notice on Friday afternoon, not even 24 hours since the team's final preseason game. No surprises among this first round of cuts and we are sure there will be more to come and those will come with some big surprises.
