PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD/WYZZ) -- Caleb Engel scored off a free kick to push Morton past visiting U-High, 2-1, in a boys soccer game at McClallen Park on Thursday.
Engel's goal in the 66th minute gave Morton a one-goal lead but two minutes later, U-High was awarded a penalty kick that was stopped by keeper Levi Sander. Each team scored in the first half.
Volleyball winners included Morton, Washington, Metamora, Central Catholic and Tremont.
