We begin another week of preseason prep for the 2026 Purdue football season. The season opener against Indiana State is a little over two weeks away and the team has been putting in the work. Today we have a series of updates on the team’s progress, first frome head coach Barry Odom:
There is no questiont hat Purdue needs to find some answers in the receiver room, and it is hoped the Chauncey Magwood can be a breakout player there. He had jsut two receptions last season, but he enters his final collegiate season looking to make a big impact for the Boilermakers.
Purdue’s defense did show improvement over last season, and a large reason for that improvement was linebacker Charles Correa. He led the team in tackles for loss and even received a Big Ten honorable mention node from the coaches and media. Here is what he had to say after today’s practice.
