Late in the Raiders matchup with the 49ers, Keyron Crawford went down and was slow to get up. When he did try and stand, he went back down again and trainers had to come out and help him off the field. On his way off, he was putting no weight on his right leg.
It was revealed a short time later that Crawford had suffered an ankle injury and wouldn't return.
The Raiders took Crawford with the 67th overall pick in the third round out of Auburn. He was at times working with the second team defense in camp and preseason, battling with Malcolm Koonce and Patrick Johnson for snaps.
the 6-4, 253-pounder had five sacks and 9.5 tackles for loss for the Tigers as a senior in 2025.
