The Los Angeles Rams dropped $20 million on Aaron Donald to chase one more Super Bowl ring. His return sparked a clever post from the franchise’s social media accounts Sunday.
The Rams dusted off a previous graphic involving Donald. Except the social media admis scratched off the word “rejoice” in this edit.

He originally made his decision to retire on March 15, 2024. The Rams created that graphic in the process with the word “rejoice” in the caption. Los Angeles responded by drafting Florida State edge rusher Jared Verse as its first rounder of the ’24 class.
But now Donald became persuaded to return following the trade for Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns. Donald was rumored to become interested in joining the Rams again once LA completed the deal to land the 2025 NFL Defensive Player of the Year on June 1.
Donald even put a Michael Jordan themed touch to his comeback announcement, which the Rams also posted.

Donald then dove right into showing off the same revered quickness that him beloved on the Rams. But feared throughout the rest of the league.
He’s forming a rare tandem with a past NFL DPOY winner. Both starring in the trenches becomes icing on the cake for the Rams.
So Donald rejoins a Super Bowl contender and one whose home venue of SoFi Stadium is the site of this season’s big game. Donald celebrated his first ring the last time the Inglewood venue hosted the Super Bowl.
But this time he lines up next to Garrett while also having traded cornerback Trent McDuffie on the backend.
