It’s almost time for another week of Baltimore Ravens (preseason) football!

The Ravens have one less contender for their Week 1 starting center job after Danny Pinter’s injury at joint practices this week. Jovaughn Gwyn and Ethan Pocic will both look to stand out on Saturday afternoon against a blitz-heavy Vikings defense that demands communication and awareness from centers. Gwyn was phenomenal last week, but Pocic took a step forward in his ramp-up process from a 2025 Achilles tear this week and could stake his own claim to the starting gig.

Elsewhere on the roster, Baltimore’s crowded cornerback and defensive line rooms will continue to jockey for backend roster spots and force the Ravens into some tough decisions on cut-down day. A group of young pass-catchers will also look to carve out roles in the new offense under Declan Doyle, who will be down on the sidelines calling plays after spending the first preseason game in the booth.
