‘Reminds Me of Amon-Ra St. Brown’ — NFL Fans React As Browns’ KC Concepcion Trash Talks Bills’ Defense After Big Play

Besides the intense quarterback battle between Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson, Cleveland Browns fans are eager to see what KC Concepcion can contribute this season.

The rookie receiver already gave the team a preview of his potential during joint practices with the Buffalo Bills, where he dominated on the field and added to the excitement by engaging in some trash talk.

Concepcion’s confidence caught the attention of the NFL community and sparked plenty of reactions.

NFL Community Can’t Stop Talking About KC Concepcion After His Latest Practice Masterclass

Concepcion continues to show why he is seen as one of the best route runners in his rookie class. His playmaking ability was evident during Cleveland’s preseason game against the Chicago Bears, where he scored the Browns’ first touchdown on a rushing play.

Following Thursday’s practice, Browns head coach Todd Monken praised the rookie’s mindset, saying Concepcion “doesn’t blink” and simply loves playing football.

Those qualities played a big role in Cleveland selecting him with the No. 24 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Concepcion’s performance in the joint practice with the Bills outlines why Monken is high on the rookie, who repeatedly created separation against the secondary. He also brought plenty of energy by constantly chirping at Buffalo’s defenders throughout the session.

“They [expletive] I’m tellin you,” Concepcion said after scoring a touchdown.

The NFL community loved the energy from the Browns’ rookie and had plenty to say.

“He really reminds me of Amon-Ra St. Brown,” one said.

“KC might be Wr1 out the class, man,” a fan said.

Before heading to the NFL, Concepcion recorded 919 yards and 9 touchdowns during his lone season with the Texas A&M Aggies in 2025. He finished the season with an 81.5 PFN CFB WR Impact grade, ranking No. 20 in the nation.

Concepcion was heavily linked to the Bills before the draft, making his trash talk even more interesting. He told reporter Sal Capaccio during the joint practice that he thought Buffalo would have selected him, had he slid to the No. 26 pick.

Fans had plenty to say about that storyline after his dominance in the joint practice.

“Should’ve been a Bill… Brandon [expletive] Beane….you [expletive],” one person remarked, furious.

“He’s not wrong, the Bills’ defensive roster is bottom 5 since 2023,” one added.

“It’s so personal right now for @KCTheKid7 😂…this is his ‘I made it moment’” one remarked.

Concepcion made the two longest receptions during Thursday’s joint practice, both resembling the explosive plays he has consistently made throughout training camp. The Athletic’s Zac Jackson also named him the practice MVP, praising his route-running intelligence, fearlessness over the middle, and overall confidence.

If Concepcion’s dominance continues, he is expected to become an immediate contributor and an important piece of Cleveland’s offense heading into the 2026 season.
