Former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is now preparing for his first season in broadcasting after retiring earlier this year.
The 37-year-old has joined CBS for the 2026 season, with his bubbly personality set to hit the screens in the coming weeks.
Although Mr Unlimited does rub some up the wrong way, his insight into the game could prove invaluable to CBS’s analysis.
Wilson’s best days were certainly had in the Pacific Northwest, where he was able to secure his one and only Super Bowl.
With a new era of quarterbacks now in full swing from his prime, Wilson has named the five that are impressing him the most at the moment.

However, the 5ft 11in quarterback certainly knows what it takes to be one of the best, with his top five providing one potentially surprising name from the current crop in the league.
“Five quarterbacks who are game changers. I’m saying Josh Allen, not in any particular order. Josh Allen,” said Wilson.
“I think Caleb Williams. He reminds me of a young me. I think Caleb Williams is going to be up there.
“Patrick Mahomes. Lamar Jackson, when he’s hot. And a healthy Joe Burrow, with healthy skill guys.”
Williams has certainly made an impressive start to life in the NFL, with the Chicago Bears beginning to look like a real force under Ben Johnson.
In Williams’ opening two seasons, the quarterback has thrown a combined 47 touchdowns and thrown for over 3,500 yards in each season.
There will be much higher expectations on the Bears this season, which Williams will have to manage.
However, the former USC quarterback is clearly impressing many around the league, including Wilson, who will be keen to watch the 24-year-old live through his new broadcasting role.
