Cincinnati Bengals running back Samaje Perine got up slowly and required medical attention after a big hit from teammate and defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence during training camp practice Aug. 24 near Paycor Stadium.
Bengals trainer Matt Summers tended to Perine, who was able to return to practice a short time later.

Earlier in the season, Perine suffered a right ankle injury during the second quarter of the Bengals' 47-42 loss to Chicago.
Bears linebacker D'Marco Jackson was fined $6,111 for the hip-drop tackle that injured Perine, the NFL announced last November.
In March 2025, the Bengals signed Perine, who played for the Bengals for parts of four seasons from 2019 to 2022. Perine played the 2024 season for the Kansas City Chiefs.
