The Seattle Seahawks are taking on the Tennessee Titans in their second preseason game, and for Mike Macdonald, there is plenty to watch for in Nashville.
On the list?
The backup quarterback battle between Drew Lock and Jalen Milroe, the receivers who could step in for the injured Jake Bobo, and the running back room, and who stands out.
And for starters? Seattle quarterback Drew Lock opened under center for the defending Super Bowl champions and threw a 36-yard touchdown pass to Elijah Arroyo on the Seahawks' first drive.
Tennessee will have quarterback Cam Ward to start the game. ... and we know what we are going to get defensively for the Seahawks, so much of the focus will be on the offensive side of the ball.
But who will be taking their place in the game and who will be sitting?

Well, we know the stars won't be taking part, such as Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Sam Darnold, Devon Witherspoon, Leonard Williams, and DeMarcus Lawrence, and according to Gregg Bell of the News Tribune, it will be Lock starting against the Titans, and he is expected to get the first half, and Milroe the second half.
An interesting note: against Dallas, the pair chopped and changed throughout the game, but against the Titans? It will be all Lock in the first half, and Milroe will play the entire second half.
So that's a change.
Elsewhere, new signing Trevon Diggs isn't suiting up, which isn't a surprise, while Bell also stated that no starters will be taking part in the game.
First-round rookie Jadarian Price won't suit up as well, with the Seahawks reportedly seeing enough of the back.

So this game against the Titans and then Seattle's final preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs are going to be purely for the backups, second- and third-string players to try and make a name for themselves and maybe secure a spot on the roster.
While it is only preseason and the result matters little, the Seahawks and Macdonald wouldn't have been pleased with what they produced against the Cowboys.
And with the Titans reportedly set to play some of their starters, at least to begin with, it will be a good test for Seattle's backups going against top-quality opponents.
