Alex Singleton has become a success story in the NFL. After going undrafted out of Montana State and struggling to crack an active roster for two years, Singleton played three seasons in the Canadian Football League, followed by three years with the Philadelphia Eagles before eventually landing with the Denver Broncos.
In three out of his four seasons with the Broncos, Singleton tallied at least 135 tackles. And while he hasn’t nabbed any All-Pro selections or Pro Bowls, Pro Football Focus recently recognized him as one of the 32 best linebackers in the NFL. Check out why writer Bradley Locker ranked him 27th.
“Singleton’s 2025 campaign was one of tremendous triumph, overcoming testicular cancer to lead Denver to the AFC title game," Locker wrote for PFF. "Even playing 1,171 snaps was impressive in and of itself, but Singleton was also productive with a 72.1 overall PFF grade and an 88.8 PFF run-defense mark. However, Singleton lays claim to only two career seasons above a 70.0, with his subpar coverage the main hindrance.”
Singleton will now look to lead Denver's defense to another dominant campaign in 2026.
