The attention-seeking grab from Enes Kanter Freedom continues, with countless media appearances since he was kicked out of Wintrust Arena for causing a disruption and stepping onto the court to confront Chicago Sky guard Natasha Cloud this weekend.
Kanter Freedom’s act is growing old, and WNBA players are beginning to speak out. Enter LA Sparks star Cameron Brink, who unloaded on the former NBA big man following practice on Wednesday afternoon.
Brink spoke to the media while gearing up for a Friday night showdown with the Washington Mystics, when she ripped Kanter Freedom with an expletive-filled statement on his antics.
As far as Brink is concerned, Kanter Freedom is one of many people who are using a manufactured controversy to stay relevant.

Cameron Brink Tells Us How She Really FeelsJarrod Castillo of The Mirror and Express Online US shared the viral video of Brink’s comments regarding Kanter and the transgender athletes issue in a post on Threads.
“For me personally, when it comes to the trans issues I believe you’re talking about, I think it’s a non-issue and it’s people trying to just come for the trans community, and I just don’t stand for that,” Brink said. “I don’t know what the f— his name is, Enes Kanter, like he’s a stupid piece of s—t.
“I think people are tuned in [to the WNBA] for the right reasons. It’s great that we can all talk about things that are important and hard, and you can have your opinions on that, but I think taking something that’s like a non-issue right now and trying to use it for clickbait, for views, for likes, and then targeting a vulnerable community is just really low.”
The beef between Kanter Freedom and the WNBA began when he jumped onto the transgender athlete issue and claimed he now “identifies as a woman” and would be declaring for the 2027 WNBA Draft. The league, which currently has zero players who identify as transgender, has said that Kanter Freedom is not eligible to play in the league.
Since his stunt in Chicago, Kanter Freedom has been banned by the Sky from attending future games.
