TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:Mutual contract termination
Sporting Kansas City have mutually agreed to terminate midfielder Manu García's contract, the club announced Monday.
Additionally, Sporting KC have exercised a buyout of García’s guaranteed contract. He will no longer occupy a Designated Player spot on the club's roster.
The Spaniard joined Sporting KC ahead of the 2025 season and recorded four goals and 14 assists in 47 appearances across all competitions.
Before coming to Sporting KC, his club stops included Aris FC in Greece and Sporting de Gijón in Spain.
