Spurs midfielder Csiki joins BenficaTottenham Hotspur midfielder Anna Csiki has joined Portuguese Liga BPI club S.L. Benfica on a permanent deal.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Lilywhites this afternoon.

The 24-year-old Hungarian international has signed a two-year deal with Benfica with the option of an additional year.

Csiki has endured a challenging two-year spell with Spurs. The midfielder was signed by former Spurs boss Robert Vilahamn in summer 2024. She made 13 appearances for The Lilywhites in the Barclays Women’s Super League in her first season in North London before spending the 2025/2026 campaign out on loan at West Ham United and AS Roma.

Csiki will now look forward to a fresh start in Portugal with Benfica.

After sealing her move to Benfica, Csiki told the club’s official media team“I am very happy. As soon as I knew Benfica were interested, I was very excited to come here.

“I can’t wait to start and I hope to win many trophies with this club. Benfica also has a great history with regard to Hungarians. Therefore, I hope to continue writing a positive and very successful story at this club.”

Csiki was the first-ever Hungarian player to feature in the Barclays Women’s Super League in her time at Spurs.
