The Pittsburgh Steelers received amazing news regarding an injury update on one of their key defensive players: star cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
On Monday, Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy revealed to reporters that Ramsey (knee) would be activated off the physically unable to perform list and would begin practicing.

— NFL (@NFL) August 24, 2026It was previously reported that there wasn't a known return date for Ramsey, but McCarthy's latest update put all the speculation to bed as the team inches closer to the 2026 regular season.
Ramsey, who was traded to the Steelers in June 2025, had a solid debut year for Pittsburgh last season, playing at both cornerback and safety while recording 88 combined tackles, four tackles for loss, eight passes defended, and one interception.
In 2026, Ramsey is expected to primarily play at slot cornerback, forming an elite cornerback trio with Jamel Dean and Joey Porter Jr. Well, that is until Porter himself is activated off the PUP list.
