Stefano Impallomeni reviews Juventus transfer activity and what is missing

Juventus have had a busy summer transfer window, especially in recent weeks, as they have stepped up their pursuit of several players.

The men in black and white have done their best to ensure they have a strong squad before the new season begins, and so far, they have done a commendable job.

Considering they did not act quickly in the market, we can say they have been one of the most active teams in the window in recent days.

There is still work to be done before the window closes, and they have some fine names to add to their squad if they manage to sign all the players they want.

Luciano Spalletti will be happy with the window so far as he waits for the club to sign more players, as well as sell some of the unwanted players in the squad.

However, there is no doubt that they have made him happy with some of the business they have completed so far. Juventus have continued to strengthen their squad, although there are still areas that require further attention before the transfer window closes.

Pundit Stefano Impallomeni believes Juventus have made some excellent additions, while also identifying areas where they still need to improve. He said via Tuttojuve:

“Juve transfer market? Lucumí seems like an excellent signing to me, while for goal Martinez would have represented something more than Vicario. The Argentine is not only good at saving, but also at leading the defence. Otherwise, Kolo Muani can be the Vlahovic alter ego he was. In the middle of the field, however, something is missing, we are not there yet. Zirkzee is also a great quality player; he would be perfect for Spalletti”.

Impallomeni’s assessment suggests that Juventus have made progress but still need to address their midfield. The club have already brought in players who could improve the squad, but further additions could make their team more complete.

Juventus will now focus on completing their remaining business before the window closes. With further signings and departures still possible, the club’s squad could look significantly different by the end of the transfer window.
