Ticketing platform StubHub have become the latest to get involved in the ongoing drama between Jayden Daniels and LSU.
It is certainly becoming a messy situation between Daniels and his former college as the Washington Commanders quarterback vents his frustration.
The issue stems from LSU allowing cornerback DJ Pickett to wear the number five jersey previously worn by Daniels during his Heisman-winning year.
This has resulted in Daniels issuing a letter via his attorney to prevent LSU from using his image, name and likeness, as well as handing him the Heisman trophy.
Daniels’ extreme frustration shown against his former college has sparked a lot of reaction across the United States, with global brands now even looking to benefit from the debacle.

‘Effective immediately, we will no longer offer tickets in groups of 5. Out of respect for Jayden Daniels, we’re only doing 4 or 6+. Thank you for your understanding,’ they posted on their X account.
It is just one of the examples where media teams have enjoyed the publicity their brands can benefit from over issues like the one between Daniels and LSU.
The post has been viewed over 2.5m times on X alone, but the brand may need more than a viral post to boost their reputation.
A number of fans hit back at StubHub over their poor experiences with the ticketing resale site in the comments section of their post.
Although the post gained some solid engagement for the social media manager of the account, it is apparent that fans still believe StubHub have their own issues to resolve before mocking others.
