The Tennessee Titans will take the field for another open training camp practice on Monday and will greet some new faces.
One day after adding tight end Matt Lauter and running back Dominic Richardson to take the place of edge Jaylen Harrell (ACL) and tight end Jaren Kanak (pec), who were placed on injured reserve (IR) on Sunday, the Titans added a cornerback to the roster.
On Monday, the Titans signed cornerback Corey Mayfield Jr. and waived/injured linebacker Sean Brown.

— TURRON DAVENPORT (@TDavenport_NFL) August 17, 2026Mayfield originally entered the league as an undrafted rookie free agent by the Baltimore Ravens following the 2023 NFL draft after finishing his college career at Texas-San Antonio. The 5-foot-10, 200-pound cornerback does have two years of experience with the San Antonio Brahmas in the UFL, but has no NFL experience.
Tennessee signed Brown as an undrafted rookie free agent out of NC State following the 2026 NFL Draft. An undersized linebacker prospect at 6-foot-0, 216 pounds, Brown was a true developmental player with some pass-rush upside. He will now revert to injured reserve if he clears waivers and could be eligible for an injury settlement.
