The Zodiac GM Is Creating a New Basketball Perspective Using Astrology

The sun, moon, and stars have shaped astrology from the dawn of time. The concept of astrology has been crucial in introducing a new perspective on life through horoscope research. However, sports fans have never associated astrology with athletics; that is, until The Zodiac General Manager created a new type of sports analysis.

Born on a naval military base, The Zodiac was bound to move around. His father was a high-ranking member of the armed forces prior to his birth.

Although The Zodiac was just a child, he would aid his father, who was battling physical limitations, with day-to-day tasks. Unlike most kids, who were busy with their video game consoles, Zodiac helped his parents around the house daily.

The years went by, and his parents welcomed another child. Raising a little brother is always a blessing, but an autism diagnosis would add a layer of sensitivity most older siblings don’t experience. 

Still, his household was filled with love. Moving around brought new characters and experiences every step of the way. But the one thing that stayed the same was a nightly broadcast of an NBA game.

“My mom loved basketball a lot,” Zodiac said. “She’s a Pisces, and I watched it with her while growing up, so I kind of just stuck with it. The time that I started watching, the Houston Rockets just so happened to win back-to-back championships, so I kind of fell into the mold of ‘hey, this is pretty cool stuff. ’”

The Rockets used to be a basketball powerhouse. Moses Malone laid the foundation in the 70s, and Hakeem Olajuwon led an empire from the 80s to the early 2000s.

The Zodiac adored Olajuwon’s arsenal. After the Rockets won back-to-back championships in 1994 and 1995, the entire city of Houston was thrilled by their championship, and their glory enamored the young Zodiac. 

While other kids saw the Rockets as just a good team, he knew there was something deeper beyond the surface. There was a reason the team was so connected on the floor, almost telepathically.

“Hakeem Olajuwon was my favorite player growing up. I think it was something about when the Rockets were in that championship run. Mario Ellie was one of Hakeem’s best teammates.

“The way that team was constructed back then, it was a fair balance of energies, but a lot of the influence was towards Olajuwon,” Zodiac said. “He was elite at his position. So they utilized that very well. But not only that — Olajuwon was compatible with Rudy Tomjanovich, the head coach. So, if you have a coach that aligns with you very well, it works well in the overall team concept.”

The glory of the NBA champions captured the hearts of many families, and The Zodiac’s was no different. 

“It was something about their championship run. Hitting game-winning shots and then playing in the Finals against the New York Knicks, it was a great back-and-forth. Also, us being down to the Phoenix Suns and coming back to beat them.”

While delving deeper into his new obsession with basketball, he developed a craving for the blacktop, so it was time to hit the court.

The Zodiac was completely infatuated with basketball by elementary school. At the same time, his curiosity about astrology began to bloom. 

It was impossible to be friends with The Zodiac and not feel his love for basketball. He invited his friend to play, and the two would become partners in crime on the court.

Pick-up game after pick-up game, they hooped whenever he had the chance. Their concrete crusade led them to a Gemini who shared a common interest. 

“We started hanging out, just the three of us, and became best friends,” Zodiac said. “We would meet up at the park and talk about random stuff. My friends and I loved playing pickup games because we had this chemistry, like we already knew what we were gonna do on the court.”

It was only natural to build chemistry off the court as well, and by middle school, the trio were like the Three Musketeers. Their friendship transformed into a brotherhood, and the camaraderie encouraged Zodiac to reveal more about his new perspective.

Most people are skeptical about Zodiac signs and their symbolism, but his friends weren’t, making their bond all the more unique. Zodiac invited his two friends on a spiritual journey with the basketball court serving as their vessel.

“In elementary, I would walk to school and buy the newspaper to read my signs. I would ask my buddy, who’s a Gemini, ‘What’s your sign?’, and I started looking at his sign, and then we started understanding them more.”

“We would talk about these signs and understand them,” Zodiac said. “What are the good and the bad, because each and every sign is unique in their own way.”

The 2010s ushered in a new generation online, and with it came the popularization of birth signs. It was encouraging for Zodiac as he got older and life became harder. 

His love for basketball had to take a backseat as he prepared for the real world. It was a rite of passage for a high school senior to experience the trepidations of adult life, but luckily, his father’s military strength was hereditary. 

Although Zodiac received numerous scholarships to attend college out of state, he decided to stay close to home, so he could take care of his family. Considering the trials his family would face in his absence, the decision was a no-brainer. 

The Zodiac got his college education nearby, and after graduating, he got a job in Information Technology. For the next three years, he saved up money to give his family a better life.

Knowing his family was financially taken care of provided comfort, but his desire for a life in basketball began to resurface. And for good reason. 

The world of astrology only grew in popularity during the Zodiac’s absence, and he still had the data he collected from his endeavors on the blacktop. He combined his love for basketball and astrology into one world.  

With his focus back on basketball, the Zodiac wanted to establish a new way to cover the sport. He decided to coin the term:Zodiac Synergy Analysis

Most basketball analysts are stuck in their ways. After all, the highest-paid members of the media just share their opinions rather than focusing on storytelling.

So, introducing a new way to cover a 135-year-old sport wouldn’t be easy for the Zodiac. 

“ I started in 2017. By 2018, I kind of refined it with trial and error,” The Zodiac said. “In 2019, I was trying to figure out a formula, and by 2020, I was trying to figure out how to explain it because of all this mumbo jumbo. It was hard for me. I was trying to think of a way to explain it to anyone that can make it easy for them to understand. Because not everyone’s into Zodiac signs.”

One of the beautiful things about the English language is the common terminology that brings us together, and the same applies to astrology. 

The difference here is that Zodiac had to prove astrology could offer genuine insight into player chemistry, leading to better performances. 

“I had to figure out the best way to simplify it in a universal way, because I was getting so many messages, and it was hard for me to respond to every individual,” Zodiac says. “So, my thought process on that was, ‘let me continue doing this analysis so people can get used to understanding the grading system’, and little by little, I would throw in a tweet to kind of explain which signs are compatible.”

The Zodiac began to develop his confidence more after publishing more posts expressing his perspective. In the fall of 2023, he was waiting for the big moment to prove his new analysis to a new generation of hoop fans.

It finally came on September 27, when Damian Lillard was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks in a blockbuster trade. While others were excited about Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Zodiac was skeptical of their pairing.

“Zodiac Synergy Analysis started picking up heavily once the Bucks traded Damian Lillard, and they fired Adrian Griffin, and I remember when they had signed him initially, I said it’s not a good pickup, and I graded it like so,” Zodiac said. “Something happened to Lillard. People could tell Milwaukee was good, but they weren’t really gelling, and during my analysis, that’s pretty much what I said. The Bucks are still gonna win games because of talent, not because of chemistry, and it played out exactly like I thought”

Seeing how the Bucks waived Lillard after he tore his Achilles, it’s evident their experiment was an utter failure. While they were losing on the court, the poor pairing only added more credibility to Zodiac Synergy Analysis. More fans were drawn to this unique analysis and wanted to see more of what the Zodiac had to offer.

Blending the world of athletics and astrology had never been seen as a logical way to produce positive results on the biggest stages. Of course, seeing the sports world from this point of view is a very unique perspective. So, The Zodiac began spreading his sentiment via social media for the world to see.

“I would tell people, ‘Hey, mutable signs are Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius. What do they bring to the table when it comes to sports?” Zodiac says. “They’re the networkers. What does networkers mean? Networkers are the ones who bridge the gaps between a lot of opposing energies.” 

 “So, if you have an opposing energy within your teammates, what do you want, who do you want? What type of energy do you want to bring in to kind of help bridge that gap? You bring in immutable energy; that way they can help with that. They’re the ones that go with the flow, but they’re easily adaptable. They’re very flexible.”

All of the horoscopes are connected by the stars. Therefore, there are endless combinations that can make good pairings on the court. Doing so will produce positive chemistry throughout the roster.

NBA teams could factor in the birth signs of their prospects to determine if they’re a good fit alongside their franchise centerpieces. In current-day terms, the signs would provide valuable insight to teams like the Memphis Grizzlies, Utah Jazz, and Chicago Bulls as they begin their rebuilds.

As time goes on, The Zodiac continues to discover more about Zodiac Synergy Analysis, and it’s building more credibility the deeper he delves into his research.

People were skeptical of his work at first, but six years into his craft, fans from across the world are catching on. Having doubters was expected, and The Zodiac fortified his mind to deal with criticism.

“I just thought, let me just start putting this analysis out there, and I already knew that I was gonna get a lot of people trolling,” Zodiac said. “I started going into these random spaces on X, and people would just laugh, and I expected that. For me, I thought how can I really prove it, because I know a lot of people are gonna laugh at it, people are gonna say, ‘don’t even bring this up’. I was already prepared for all that, but I wanted to be consistent regardless.”

Before The Zodiac knew it, he was receiving emails for guest appearances and going from random people laughing to being featured on television screens across America.

“I was humbled because this speaks volumes,” Zodiac said. “My analysis is reaching out people, different cities and different media outlets. It has been a blessing. I feel so humbled. I knew there was always something there with this analysis, but putting it out there for people to see it and understand and recognize it, I think it’s building that strong foundation, and it’s just… it’s a wonderful thing.” 

It wouldn’t take long for the mass media to come around, and now, in the present day, media members across the country use Zodiac Synergy Analysis as a credible source.

“Honestly, I was nervous because I don’t think I’ve ever had this many people look into this stuff,” The Zodiac explained. “I started thinking in the back of my mind that this might go into a bigger audience. I started thinking that, and I would live my daily life just thinking this is kind of scary.”

“Like, do I have to be perfect on anything I post? I’m not used to that. I’m used to one or two people looking at my tweet, and that’s it. But now, I started getting hundreds, and then thousands. That’s kind of when I started realizing it’s gonna take some time for me to get used to it, but now I feel more comfortable. “

With his passion on the world stage, he made his goals for the future clearer than the night sky on a starry summer night.

“My goals for the next five years are to keep that consistency. I think my ultimate goal is to get a position somewhere. That’d be a blessing,” Zodiac said. “If not, it’s okay because I feel like the foundation’s already there. So, I just want to maintain my consistency.”

There’s no doubt that the world of astrology is everlasting, and the same can be said about basketball. Both play different roles in our society and have contributed to the culture of the world we live in today.

The Zodiac has done the world a great service by bringing the two together. Even a tarot card reader couldn’t predict his bright future. He is bound for a journey of wonder, seeing how his new creation unites millions of people across the globe. 

Fans are blessed to witness the evolution of Zodiac Synergy Analysis. Spectators should be excited for what’s to come.
