Another Alabama football wide receiver is hurt. But this one won't be sidelined for long, per Kalen DeBoer.
Alabama wide receiver Lotzeir Brooks did not participate in the Crimson Tide's first fall camp scrimmage, along with five-star running back EJ Crowell.
"Lotzeir missed a couple practices and did not scrimmage today," DeBoer said. "He'll just be out for a few more practices.
"Don't expect him to miss any games or anything like that."
As a freshman, Brooks had 32 catches and 441 yards receiving.
Alabama is already down one receiver, losing Noah Rogers for the first part of the 2026 season after a lower-body injury the NC State transfer suffered during A-Day.
Ryan Coleman-Williams leads an Alabama receiver room looking for depth with Rico Scott, Derek Meadows and freshman Cederian Morgan fighting for playing time.
Alabama will hold its second fall camp scrimmage Thursday, Aug. 20 before the Crimson Tide hosts East Carolina in its season opener Saturday, Sept. 5.
