The Celtics have had quite a few personnel changes throughout the last 10 years or so, from coaches to players, but one common theme has remained through each version of their roster or front office.

That theme has been winning, and no team has done it better since the 2014-15 season.

This Stat Shows Just How Consistent the Celtics Have Been for 10+ Years

Since the 2014-15 season, the Celtics have won 618 regular-season games, which is the most in the NBA since then (Warriors are 2nd with 604 wins).

For reference, since 2014-15, the Warriors have won four NBA titles, yet the Celtics still have more regular-season wins in those 12 years.

The titles carry more significance, but the Warriors have had some off years between their championship years.

That's been the one positive with Boston, as they have really been a top seed in almost every season during this period, except for a subpar season in 2020-21.

They made six conference finals appearances in these years, with two runs to the NBA Finals mixed in.

Boston has finished with over 51 wins in each of the last five seasons, and has had a winning percentage over 62.0 % in 8 of the last 12 seasons.

Since 2014-15, they've won 88 playoff games, which is the second most, behind only the Warriors (104).

On average, that means they have won around seven playoff games per postseason in the last 12 years.

It's a positive to see this trend entering this season, as there is some uncertainty about what a new era of Celtics basketball is going to look like in 2026-27.
