Three Kentucky Wildcats named to PFN All-SEC preseason teams

The Kentucky Wildcats have some studs on their roster, and Will Stein is going to be the one in charge of leading them to a successful season. The first-year head coach did a terrific job at bringing in some talented transfers, and he's been better than expected as a recruiter as well.

Turning this talent into production is another story, but many popular media sites are starting to wake up to what Kentucky has on its roster. Pro Football Network dropped its All-America squad and its All-SEC rosters as well, and the Cats have multiple players that made the list.

"Kentucky center Coleton Price, defensive back Ty Bryant and defensive lineman Tavion Gadson all hauled in preseason honors from Pro Football Network on Monday. Price was tabbed to the second-team All-America squad and the Southeastern Conference preseason first team. Bryant and Gadson were both named to the preseason All-SEC second team," the press release noted.

Price was the lone player to make the All-America squad, and coming from Baylor, he was among the most-prized transfers that Kentucky was able to attract. He cracked the All-Big 12 Second Team in 2024. Price is going to help shore up the Big Blue Wall, which Stein is hoping will protect Kenny Michey this season.

Moving forward, Bryant earned an All-SEC second team honor, and he's been with the Cats since he was a freshman in the 2023 season. He had an SEC-high four interceptions last season as well and has had at least 40 combined tackles in each season.

The same can be said of Gadson as well. He really blossomed into a full-time starter on the Cats defensive line last season, but the redshirt junior ended his sophomore campaign with 2.5 sacks, 4.0 tackles for a loss and 16 solo tackles in total. He's going to be a force on the defensive line this season.
