The Tennessee Titans and San Francisco 49ers faced off at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Friday evening in their first preseason game of 2026. The matchup saw head coach Robert Saleh go up against his former team, and he got his first win as the Titans' head coach.
It's the preseason, so expectations aren't exactly the same as they would be for a regular-season game, but one thing we can say is that the Titans' defense shone brightly on Friday, allowing just one touchdown and two field goals in their 19-13 win.
There is still plenty of work to be done, as you'll see in the grades below, but the overall takeaway from the Titans' win puts the team in a positive light. Still, take these grades with a grain of salt, as they do not dictate much at this point. Let's take a look at the best and worst performances in the Titans' win as graded by Pro Football Focus.
