City wrapped up preparations at the CFA on Saturday as we prepare to bring the curtain up on the new season when we tackle Arsenal in Sunday's 2026 Community Shield at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
It’s an eagerly-awaited clash in the Welsh capital bringing together last season’s FA Cup and Carabao Cup victors against the Premier League champions.
The new season also officially heralds the advent of a fresh era with Enzo Maresca now at the managerial helm for City.
The Italian succeeded Pep Guardiola as manager earlier this summer and Sunday offers the new boss and his squad the chance to register a first piece of silverware this term.
And, as our gallery illustrates, the players were in great spirits as they rounded off preparations at the CFA before heading down to Cardiff.
