Travis Kelce’s presence at the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp is certainly being felt as he enters year 14.
There were some major questions as to whether Kelce would be returning for this year after a frustrating 2025 season.
The future Hall of Famer has seen his numbers drop off over the last few years, with no 1000+ yard season since 2022.
However, despite his busy offseason, where he got married to Taylor Swift, the 36-year-old is back to bringing the energy to the Chiefs’ facility.
That has been seen on the field, with a heavy reliance expected to be placed on the tight end, with the wide receiver group leaving a lot to be desired.
On Wednesday, it was Kelce’s impersonation of his quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, which left the media laughing.

During the podium appearance with the media, Kelce admitted his wedding was the best night of his life as he celebrated with so many of his friends and family.
However, the moment of the press conference had to go to Kelce’s impersonation of Mahomes’ distinct voice.
“One of the most surprising things you’ll ever find out about playing with Pat Mahomes is the guy’s got a good cadence. There’s something with thefrequency of his voice, and when he says “hut hut,” it really gets you,” Kelce joked.
“Everybody has just got to mentally lock in when you’re tired, because that frequency can get you to jump no matter what. It’s a good cadence.
“Everybody knows I love that guy. That’s a brother to me. I’m so proud of the way he handled adversity from last year.”
The media could be heard laughing as Kelce stood and voiced his Mahomes impression, which had a resemblance to Kermit the Frog.
Whenever the time comes that Kelce calls it a day on his career, the Chiefs are going to lose a huge character in their locker room.
Not only has the tight end been one of the greatest to ever do it in his position, but he has also proven a hugely important leader for Andy Reid.
Although not all NFL fans are big on the attention his relationship gets, what he provides to the league should not be taken for granted as he enters his final year(s).
