Marcus Trescothick would like to remain part of Stephen Fleming’s backroom staff when the incoming head coach takes charge of England’s Test side after their series against Pakistan.
Trescothick, an assistant during Brendon McCullum’s tenure, has the head coach role for the three Tests against Pakistan and got off to a winning start on Friday, with Joe Root’s side thumping the tourists by an innings and 103 runs at Headingley.
