Better to be safe than sorry …

Following UFC 330 tonight (Sat., Aug. 15, 2026) inside Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, promotion officials confirmed to MMAmania.com that one fighter was transported to a local hospital for precautionary reasons after sustaining damage in his bout.

The lone fighter transported was Tresean Gore.

Gore (7-4) was sent to the hospital for precautionary CT scans of his head, face and lower jaw following his unanimous decision win over Vicente Luque.

During his post-fight interview, Gore revealed that a flying knee from Luque damaged his lower teeth. The broadcast later showed what appeared to be one of Gore’s teeth in his coach’s hand.

The 32-year-old is now riding the second two-fight winning streak of his UFC career. Before defeating Luque, Gore pulled off a massive upset earlier this year when he put Azamat Bekoev to sleep.

Gore is now 4-4 inside the Octagon and hopes his latest victory will earn him a fight against someone close to the Middleweight rankings.

At this time, Gore’s scan results have not been publicly disclosed. However, given the damage to his mouth, do not be surprised if some gnarly dental images surface in the coming days.

It is normal for UFC to transport fighters to the hospital for precautionary reasons, especially after fighters are involved in damaging three-round battles, suffer nasty knockouts, or sustain injuries that need additional evaluation.
