Another young American soccer player is heading to the top league in the world.
Zavier Gozo is moving to Crystal Palace, the club announced Tuesday, Aug. 18, on a five-year deal after a transfer reportedly valued at more than $15 million.
The 19-year-old came onto the scene with Real Salt Lake as a winger but has shifted slightly back into a wingback role this season, starting 16 matches in 2026 after playing in 25 matches plus a playoff game in 2025.
“I’m really looking forward to playing in the Premier League with Crystal Palace. It’s the dream of any footballer," he said in a club news release. “I’m excited by the people and the project they have going on here. I’ve seen a lot of it, and that’s what excites me about this club as well: the success that they’ve had.”
