CLEVELAND, Ohio (KMID/KPEJ) - Former UTPB wide receiver Ben Patterson has found his next NFL opportunity, signing with the Cleveland Browns after being waived by the Jacksonville Jaguars earlier this month.
Patterson spent his college career at UTPB, where he recorded 98 receptions for 1,774 yards and 16 touchdowns. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound wide receiver earned All-Lone Star Conference second-team honors in 2023 and 2025.
Patterson becomes the second Falcon in program history to sign with an NFL team. He will join the Browns in Cleveland as they prepare for their next preseason matchup against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday.
Patterson will wear No. 13 with the Browns.
