Viral Bengals training camp footage shows Dexter Lawrence's leadership

The Cincinnati Bengals brought on Dexter Lawrence via trade to change the franchise in multiple ways. 

One of those was on the field itself. He’s rare across the NFL for his blend of abilities at nose tackle, which in theory, should help spur developmental breakouts for the likes of Shemar Stewaart and Cashius Howell on the edge. 

The other part was as a veteran locker room leader. 

One viral clip from a recent Bengals training camp practice shows how that’s working out, courtesy of WLWT’s Jaron May:

Talk about a turn of events, considering Joe Burrow’s offense was on the losing end of most training camp battles. 

Now, it seems more back-and-forth, with Lawrence’s defense on the losing side in the above clip. But he and names like Jonathan Allen are clearly providing the veteran vocal leadership the franchise so desperately needed on that side of the ball.
