Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the MLB. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Pirates fans and fans across the country.

Welcome back to Reacts. This week’s question is about Termarr Johnson, who we’ve covered here a couple times over the last two weeks. The Bucs drafted Johnson fourth overall in 2022, with designs on him contributing with a bat that was a good one in college. As Austin mentioned in his piece, it hasn’t quite worked out that way.

In 96 games, Johnson slashed .199/.336/.319 with a career-low .655 OPS, 90 points lower than last year.

He is only a career .239 hitter over five years in the minor leagues over 467 games. Johnson slugged 14 doubles, eight home runs, and drove in 37 runs prior to the injury, but he has always left more to be desired.

He also suffered a terrible injury that might cause him to miss a chunk of 2027. So what we want to know is what you think about Termarr? Is he a bust? Or will he get it together?
