The Washington Huskies have made a big push for four-star running back Noel Washington in the 2028 class, and Jedd Fisch's coaching staff has established itself as one of the frontrunners for his services.

Washington, a 6-foot, 185-pound product of Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California, is ranked as the No. 202 overall prospect and No. 14 running back in the 2028 class after he tallied 782 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground and added 9 catches for 74 yards and a score during his sophomore season.

As position coach Scottie Graham looks to continue adding high-end speed to his room, the former NFL running back has been able to establish a strong relationship with Washington, the son of former All-Pro kick returner Leon Washington, and has the Huskies among the top programs he's considering.

"Scottie Graham is a great coach, and I got a chance to talk with him in person, and I feel like he will be a great fit for me," Washington told Rivals' Steve Wiltfong (subscription required).

Graham has shown to be one of Fisch's strongest recruiters after earning commitments from four-stars Brian Bonner and Jeremy Adeyanju in the 2026 and 2027 classes, and now he'll be looking to close on another blue-chip in 2028 while battling another Big Ten program.

"The Huskies are in the top two right now with Penn State," Washington continued. "He’s been recruiting me hard and lets me know I’m a priority. He’s developed some great guys like Jonah Coleman and others. He also knows my dad, and having a relationship with my family is important. Head coach Jedd Fisch is a great head coach, and I like where he’s going. They’ve been very successful under him, and I like the way he handles his team. I’m excited to get up to a game this year. I already have a date for it."
