Draymond Green was surprised by a man with a goose while in China, and his immediate reaction is going viral on social media.

Many NBA players go to China every offseason. The league has a large fanbase within the country. In terms of cultural experiences, this can lead to some interesting outcomes.

The Golden State Warriors are one of the most popular franchises in the world. So for Draymond Green, his current visit to China isn’t something new.

However, this time, the 4-time NBA champion had to deal with an unexpected surprise. And the video of his reaction has become quite popular on social media.

Not counting pets and Nikola Jokic’s horses, it’s not often that NBA stars have to deal with a lot of animals. And even when they do, a giant goose is certainly not a common one.

Yet that’s exactly what Draymond had to confront, when a man came up behind him at an event holding a giant Lion Head goose. His reaction was both unsurprising and understandable.

“Holy s***! No, no,” Green could be seen exclaiming as he walked away from the man with the goose. Since he wasn’t expecting it, it is natural that the 36-year-old seemed a bit scared.

Considering Draymond’s image as a tough guy and an enforcer, fans on X naturally found the whole situation hilarious. There was also a good amount of sympathy for him in the comments.

Not many fans can predict how the Warriors will perform during the 2026-27 season. Whatever happens, Green is unlikely to be as surprised by it as he was by the goose experience.
